After Redmi Note 9, Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max, Xiaomi has now released Redmi Note 9S. According to the latest information, Redmi Note 9S is said to be the updated version of Note 9 Pro which will be shipped internationally from April 7, 2020. So let’s get into the specifications of the device.

Powerful Display and Design
The front panel fo Redmi Note 9S got a beautiful 6.67-inch IPS LCD panel. The screen has an FHD+ (1080×2400 pixels ) resolution which adapts 20:9 aspect ratio. The front and back panel of the device is protected by corning gorilla glass 5, but the side of the phone is made out of plastic instead of metal. The display can produce good brightness and color but they are not as good and color accurate as AMOLED and OLED panels.

Last year Note series got Helio Chipset but this year Redmi Note 9S is powered by Snapdragon 720G chipset. The same chipset can be seen in Redmi Note 9 Pro and Pro Max. The 8nm processor has dual 2.3GHz high-performance Kryo 465 cores and Hexa 1.8GHz Kryo 465 power-efficient cores. The SD720G mid-range gaming chipset coupled with Adreno 618 GPU can accouche enough power to control everyday erratic tasks like media usage and internet surfing. It also gives you the power to do casual and mid-range gaming with a good frame rate and without lagging the system.
Two variants one with 4/64GB option and another with 6/128GB option is released. The faster RAM and UFS 2.1 Storage technology are used in this model for better performance and there is a dedicated microSD card for storage expansion.

Camera
The back panel of the device has a rectangular camera housing at the top middle portion. The primary 48MP f/1.8 sensor is assisted by an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide sensor. Similarly, there is a dedicated 5MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor in a camera housing.
16MP selfie shooter at the front embedded in a punch hole at the top middle of the display is a feature not to miss about Redmi Note 9S. Redmi Note 9 Pro and Pro Max have already been officially unveiled in India on 12 March 2020. The Redmi Note 9S has been priced at $210 on Gearbest for a 4/64GB variant and $250 for a 6/128GB option. Thus, the expected price of Redmi Note 9S in India should be Rs. 24,990 for 4/64GB variant and Rs. 29,990 for 6/128GB variant.
